EMPIRE COFFEE IS DIFFERENT
Founded in 2015, and proudly named after the vintage 1913 Empire Boiler that was recently decommissioned by The Adventure Hotel in Nelson, BC. This piece of equipment kept people warm for more than 100 years. Sections of this incredibly crafted steam boiler stand on display throughout our coffee house to pay homage to when things were just made better.

At Empire this is one of our founding principals. We strive to provide things made better, and it all starts with the fruit. Our roasters go to incredible lengths to source their beans. They are selected from the top 1% in the world, and are bought farmer direct. From there we depend on our incredibly passionate team of baristas to deliver you the best cup of coffee and the experience to go with it. We believe that coffee is so much more than a commodity. It is truly an artisanal foodstuff, and deserves incredible care at all stages of production, from plant growing, harvesting, and processing, to strong relationships between growers, roasters and baristas.
